Determine the Batch Queues

Top  Previous  Next

The most important part of setting up batch printing is determining how you want reports printed.  The system provides you with almost unlimited flexibility in setting up batch queues, but generally you should try to keep the number of queues to a minimum in order to keep things simple.  For example, you may only have one queue if all reports print on plain white paper.  If you have letters to print and they need to print on letterhead, then you will need a queue for letters.  If you have multiple people in the same office that are responsible for printing different groups of providers, then you will need queues to handle each group of providers.  You must also determine what sort order to print the report in and whether or not a log report is required.
