Print Definition File - Labels screen
| 1. | Top margin - Optional. Specifies how many lines to skip before starting to print on the first label. |
| 2. | Labels per page - Enter how many physical labels there are on the sheet. |
| 3. | Lines per label - Enter how many lines can be printed on each label, based on 6 lines per inch. |
| 4. | Last label adjustment - Optional. Enter the number of lines to adjust the last label. Useful for labels that are printed on laser printers, but the laser printer cannot physically print on the last 2 or 3 lines of the last label (assuming the last label goes all the way down to the end of the form). |
| 5. | Line width - Enter the number of characters that should print on a line. Assuming an 8.5" wide form with a 1/2" left and right margin, you can get 75 characters using the Courier font, 90 characters using the Elite font, or 120 characters using the Lineprinter font. |
| 6. | Left margin - Optional. Indicates how many characters should be used for the left margin. |
| 7. | Number of gap lines - Optional. Indicates how many blank lines exist between each label. If blank or 0, then it is assumed that the labels all run together, with a perforation between each. |
| 8. | Protocol - Select from the drop-down list either Laser or IBM Proprinter. |
| 9. | Font - Select either Courier, Elite, or Lineprinter. Each is a different size font, which makes it possible to control the number of characters on a line. Courier is 10 CPI (characters per inch), Elite is 12 CPI, and Lineprinter is 16.6 CPI. |
| 10. | Include header - Optional. Indicates that the form's header is to print at the top of each report. |
| 11. | No form feed - Optional. Indicates that no form feed is to be done at the end of a page. Useful for dot-matrix printers that use continuous feed paper. |
