Home Transcription Setup

This user guide will show you the steps to create a new home transcriptionist. 

The basic steps to add a new home transcriptionist are:

1.  Have the new transcriptionist install ChartNet on their home PC.

2.  Add the home transcriptionist to the Users file using the File Manager

3.  Export system and site "startup files" to the new home user.  You can do this directly from the File Manager, or you can use the System Utilities program.

4.  Have the home user start ChartNet and do a "Connect (F1)" to receive their startup files and populate their local database with all the files necessary to start doing transcription. 

5.  From now on, the new user will automatically get updates to all files when they do a "Connect (F1)".
