Using Templates

Top  Previous  Next

Templates are public files that can be inserted into any report (much like ExpandType).  Each site has its own Template file that can be accessed by any user.  Only the System Manager, or someone with the Template Maintenance privilege, can maintain a site's Template file.  Templates files can be created to store, for example, Radiology "normal" exam text.  When Templates are created, they are assigned a "code" that is used to identify them and can (optionally) be assigned a "group" code.  A group code can be useful if you need to search the Template file for all templates that belong to a specific group, for example, all templates for Dr. Kennedy.
