The Batch Controller is used to distribute (e.g. print) reports in batches (as opposed to distributing reports in real-time). This gives the Batch Controller user the option of printing reports whenever it is convenient.
Features
| 1. | Reports can be printed in any order (e.g. name, medical record number, etc.) |
| 2. | Any batch can have one or more distributions defined. For example, one distribution to print the reports and another distribution to interface the reports to another system. |
| 3. | A detail log can be printed (manually or automatically) that lists each report that was distributed. The log can be sorted the same way as the reports were printed, or in a different sort order. |
| 4. | Any batch already processed can be re-processed at a later date if need be. |
| 5. | If portions of a batch need to be re-printed (due to a printer jam), you can select which reports not to print again. |
| 6. | Different formats for the log report are available. |
| 7. | The Batch Controller can be setup to be run automatically at certain times by using the Windows Task Scheduler. |
| 8. | Various steps (e.g. import, log print) can be setup to be done automatically. |
| 9. | Can print reports on labels. |
