Appendix A - Foot Pedals

The following table lists the foot pedals that are supported by the ChartNet Voice Player.  For pedals that connect to the computer's game controller port, the table shows which joystick button (i.e. 1,2,3,4) is mapped to which of the three pedals (FF, Play, Rewind).  Gameport foot pedals must have the the "2 axis, 4-button joystick" driver installed by going to the Control Panel and selecting Game Controllers.

Note- Windows Me users that use a USB foot pedal must have DirectX version 9.0 (or higher) installed on their systems.  The DirectX 9.0 drivers can be obtained from the Support Center at www.hudson-medical.com.
