Note- you can start listening to the first job after it downloads without having to wait for the other jobs to finish downloading.
To start listening to a job, select the job by highlighting it and pressing Enter or double-click on it, or click on the tool button that has a "speaker" icon.
The Voice Client screen will disappear and the ChartNet Voice Player will come up
The currently selected job is now loaded into the Voice Player
Press the Play foot pedal and you should hear the dictation. If not, check to make sure your headset is functioning and the volume is turned up. If the foot pedal does not work properly, it may be due to not having selected the proper foot pedal during configuration. Go back to the Configuration Chapter and re-select the foot pedal.
When finished transcribing, you can do the following:
| 1. | Complete the job and return to the Voice Client (by clicking on the green checkmark button) |
| 2. | Return the job incomplete (by clicking on the red cancel button) |
| 3. | Complete the job and get the next job (by clicking on the blue recycle button) |
You can also display the job's properties by clicking on the yellow question mark button.
In addition to the foot pedal, the playback functions can be controlled via the keyboard as follows:
Play Ctrl+P
Stop Ctrl+S
Rewind Ctrl+R
Forward Ctrl+F
Go to the beginning Ctrl+B
Go to the end Ctrl+E
