Using a table to control bracketed field placement
Sometimes a header or footer needs to have the patient data fields in "columns" across the page and the fields need to be either left-justified or right-justified. Instead of using tabs to separate the fields into columns, it is recommended that you insert a 2 or 3 column "table" and size the column widths accordingly. Then in the table cells, you can insert bracketed fields, along with any other labels that are required (e.g. "Patient name: ").
Copying parts of a form to other forms
If you have to make the same change to many of the forms, you can save time by making the change to one form, then using the "Quick Site" feature to copy the section of the form (e.g. Header) that was modified to all (or selected) other forms. The "Quick Site" option is available under the "File" menu in the File Manager. After entering the site code, click on the "Forms 1" tab and fill out the section called "Copy parts of existing form to other forms". |
